Harrah’s Las Vegas offers Wayne Newton shows in Las Vegas. They where kind enough to invite me to a show featuring Wayne Newton. It comes with a Christmas theme and with the free show they also offer two free hotel nights.

Now here is one I am really sad I missed!
This offer included 2 free hotel nights, transporation and seats to the event. I watch a lot of UFC and would of liked to gone to the first Pride Fighting event in America.

If you are a member of Harrah’s Total Rewards they have added win/loss statements to their web site. You just login and it generates a PDF of your winnings and losses.
Mine seems to only be about 50% accurate. It is definitely an interesting tool.
Why would a casino do this? Their goal is to make patrons loose money and forgot how much they have lost. If at the year you run this and put a tangible number rather than the mystery it may motivate people to quit gambling?

Here is one of the “cooler” comps I have received, I was busy this weekend so I could not go. Harrah’s and the Flamingo partnered together and had a large Blackjack tournament. They offered 4 free nights of hotel accomadations and over $50,000 in prizes.
The flier was very professional and the branding was very good on this flier. It came on a nice hard cover mailer. Entry was completely free and if I showed up I probably would of dome some other aggressive gambling.

So you really want to travel in style? Harrah’s offered me a free flight from San Diego to Reno and all accomidations. I never took them up on this offer but it sounds quite nice. The dates where from a Sunday to Wednesday which is not ideal.
