Waste of Money – Free Offers

CompMan December 24th, 2006

Since I am such a Las Vegas expert, someone approached me and said they never pay for a Las Vegas hotel.  Infact, he even promised he would show me how to get a free hotel in Las Vegas and $500 in free offers along the way.  It sure sounds fishy, doesn’t it?  I sure thought so.  Well, he made me an offer where I could buy the coupon that allows me to do all this great stuff for only $1.  I did not expect much, but for $1, I bought 10 of them and promised him I would give it a shot.

One week later, I got a package in the mail that had 10 of these coupons in it.

Mail Offer

After flipping the card over, it told me to redeem my coupon I had to go to another web site.  I went to this website and just like I figured, it would cost more money to get my $500 in free Las Vegas savings.  I decided I might as well finish the experment and buy the coupon book.  I do not remember, how much it costs, I believe it was $5 shipping only fees.

After I re-entered my address and credit card info, I got a book in the mail.

Offer Book

This little book came in the mail about a week later.  I paged through every coupon (sorry, I didn’t sepnd the time scanning them all) and there was basically nothing that was worth my time redeeming.  A lot of offers where for places away from the strip or required me to take further action to get the offer.

I will show some real comps on my next update, but if you run accross this one, I would recommend you do not waste your money!
